SCHNORR SAFETY WASHERS
Safety Washers 'S' Series are used for normal standard duty and available for screw sizes starting at M1.6 up to M36.
They provide high resistance to vibration due to the positive locking by the serrations.
Available in a variety of materials and different surface finishes.
S Type washers have excellent fictional connection which results in a high degree of securing effect.
Series 'VS' can be used with high strength bolts of the grade 8.8 without any restrictions.
This washers has a greater thickness and therefore can achieve higher pretensioning loads.
It shares the same outside and inside diameters as the 'S' series.
Standard size range starts at M5 and finishes at M30.
Special sizes can be quoted for on request.
The 'HS' Series are load washers with a smaller outside diameter than the DIN 6796 range.
HS have a slight curved form which provides a progressively increasing characteristic curve.
Contrary to having a smaller outside diameter this makes it possible to obtain the same load as the DIN 6797 washers.
Normally the HS washers are used if there is insufficient space for standardized load washers.
Material Spring Steel to DIN 17221 or 17222.
Normal surface finish - phosphated and oiled.
